HEALTH & WELLNESS

“I have come so that they may have life and have it abundantly” John 10:10

Health & Wellness at Peachtree Road

There is no magic formula or three step solution for wellness. The truth is: life is hard, and healing often takes longer than we wish. Here at Peachtree Road UMC, wellness is not a destination, a task on your “to-do” list, or a one-time new year’s resolution. For us, wellness is a journey and a lifelong commitment to spiritual awakening, self-discovery, and disciplines that support a life and a world of abundance. We take a holistic approach to wellness rooted in the integral connection between the mind, body, and spirit. We emphasize the importance of attending to these different areas of life and fostering meaningful relationships with ourselves, others, and God.

This ministry seeks to empower individuals to embrace a balanced and compassionate lifestyle that aligns with the beliefs of The United Methodist Church and our call to be disciples for Jesus Christ. We embrace the complex nature of health and wellness and seek to create a culture in which all people can thrive. After all, health is not a personal project; it is a communal responsibility.

God desires for all people to be well, whole, and have a life of abundance (John 10:10). We know the Church has an important role to play in wellness and we are honored to be on this path with you.
