Join Joe and His Award-Winning Big Band as they celebrate a century of swing! They will perform classics from Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Tony Bennett, and more. This collection explores the vibrant evolution of a genre that has shaped the soundscape of jazz, blending energetic rhythms with soulful melodies. From its roots in the roaring ’20s to its enduring influence on contemporary music, swing’s infectious spirit continues to captivate audiences around the world.
Peachtree Road is excited to partner with the Atlanta Music Club for our 2024-2025 concert series opener. This venture is the first in a collaboration that will hopefully lead to more large performances for AMC in the future. We hope this collaboration will be a great success for both organizations and the community. The Atlanta Music Club (AMC), established in 1915, is Atlanta’s oldest chartered nonprofit music organization. The AMC’s history is rich in contributions to the arts scene in Atlanta.
