2025 Men’s Spiritual Retreat at Camp Glisson

Rev. Bill Britt and Rev. Geoff Beakley invite you to join them for PRUMC’s first annual men’s spiritual retreat in the North Georgia mountains. This retreat is a unique opportunity for personal growth, helping you deepen your connection with God and build stronger relationships with other men from PRUMC. Our moderator for the retreat is Dr. Brent Strawn, the preeminent professor of Old Testament studies from Duke University. Dr. Strawn will guide us in faith-based discussions as we contemplate our role as leaders for Jesus Christ through his mastery of the Old Testament.

Moderator: Dr. Brent A. Strawn is a distinguished professor of Old Testament studies at Duke University and a professor at the Duke University School of Law. Dr. Strawn is recognized worldwide for his expertise. His keen insight and dynamic personality have enabled him to appear on CNN numerous times as an expert in religious discussions. Dr. Strawn is an ordained elder in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, and he regularly speaks and preaches at churches across the country. Dr. Strawn will guide us in a fresh look at the Ten Commandments and what they mean to us today as men leading for Christ in the world.
