The leadership of Peachtree Road sets priorities and makes informed decisions for the ministry of the church. In addition to advancing our mission, the church staff, clergy and lay-leaders continuously seek to strengthen programs, improve personal experiences and innovate ways for spiritual growth so that all people can find peace and purpose in our caring, faith community.

The staff and clergy manage the ministry of the church, making and executing programming decisions with the vital support of aligned lay-leaders. Their responsibility is to create an environment for the congregation to learn, grow and find joy in the Word and our community.

Four executive boards comprised of lay leaders have oversight responsibility for the business affairs of the church, as required by the UMC Discipline. Board members share their insights and knowledge to further the mission of Peachtree Road UMC. Within each group, and also acting together, these committees discern where God is leading the church through fiduciary and policy-setting decisions.
